Winner’s Bag: Michelle Wie Thrills in Singapore

While most of you were sound asleep with dreams of making a championship-clinching putt, Michelle Wie was actually doing it.

Halfway around the globe in Singapore, Wie put together one of the most memorable rounds and drained one of the most dramatic putts of her career to win the HSBC Women’s World Championship.

The 28-year-old started the day five shots off the lead, but was able to rip off an incredible 7-under 65 to claim her fifth LPGA title over a who’s who leaderboard.
Winning time for Wie came on the 72nd hole. She shared the lead with three other stars of the game when she faced a lengthy putt just in front of the green, which she thrillingly buried. See it for yourself below…
